Key Technological Features of JBR20 Non-Combustibility Apparatus
- OIN 1182:2020 Dual Thermocouple Configuration: Fully complies with the latest international guidelines, utilizing two furnace-temperature thermocouples along with optional specimen surface and specimen center probes.
- Advanced Dual-Loop Control Algorithm: Advanced temperature and power dual-loop regulation ensures smooth automatic transitions from constant temperature to constant power without manual intervention.
- Precision Voltage & Power Compensation: Operates at standard 100 V heating voltage. Built-in power compensation keeps power fluctuations below 1% and empty furnace temperature variance under 2 °C even during mains voltage fluctuations.
- Soft-Start Heating Protection: Software-managed multi-stage heating curve prevents thermal shock to furnace heating elements, extending furnace core operational life.
- Automated Flame Logging & Data Analysis: Automatically detects and logs sustained flame duration, eliminating manual timing errors, and allows full raw data export and querying.
- All-Stainless Steel Body Construction: Heavy-duty, high-temperature-resistant stainless steel enclosure ensures corrosion resistance and reliable continuous testing.

Testing Workflow & Non-Combustibility Assessment
Standardized Testing Procedure:
- Prepare standardized cylindrical test specimens measuring Ø45 mm × 50 mm in accordance with GB/T 40238 / DANS 13238 conditioning procedures.
- Power on the JBR20 apparatus and initiate the software-controlled soft-start ramp to stabilize the furnace furnace temperature at 750 °C (stabilization within 40–50 min).
- Mount the specimen inside the specimen holder and position thermocouples at the specimen center and surface if required.
- Lower the specimen holder into the center of the vertical tube furnace using the height-positioning stop block.
- The computerized software continuously records temperature curves (furnace, specimen center, specimen surface) and monitors for any flaming activity.
- Record the maximum temperature rise ($\Delta T$), mass loss percentage ($\Delta m$), and sustained flaming time ($t_f$) upon test completion.
